The Certificate I in Spoken and Written English will equip you with the English language skills you need for your daily life in Australia.     • Entry level is International Second Language Proficiency Ratings (ISLPR) 0+ / ACSF Level 1 or
    • IELTS Score of 1 – 2 or,
    • TOEIC 0 – 250 or
    • TOEFL iBT 10 – 20 or
    • Elementary Level of English or equivalent
  • Proficient Score At Completion Of Course
    • Pre Intermediate or
    • IELTS Score of 2 – 3 or
    • TOEFL iBT 21 – 31 or
    • TOEIC 255 – 433 or equivalent
  • Outcome Of Course Upon Completion
    Upon course completion you will be able to:
    • Answer telephone calls and take simple messages
    • File in a short form
    • Have a short and simple conversation
    • Read and understand simple jobs ads
    • Understand simple instructions
    • Write longer sentences and explore plurals and collective nouns
 
 
  • Exit Points & Pathways
    A student may exit from this qualification at any time with a Statement of Attainment for any units of competency successfully completed up to that point.

    After the course, students may continue studying Certificate II in Spoken and Written English or higher level courses.

    Not everyone will get RPL for their skills and knowledge. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate a reasonable amount of experience in the area their course covers.
