The Education Agent Training Course is a free online industry recommended course that provides Education Agents with information about the Australia’s education system and also as a study destination. The Australian Education International (AEI) and the Department of Home Affairs (DHA)

The purpose of the course is to provide Education Agents with information about the Australian education system and Australia as a study destination, education quality assurance issues and the Australian visa regulation system. It will also keep agents abreast of changes and developments in international education services, as well as encourage and support excellence in business service delivery, study and career pathways, and professional development.

NOTE: The EATC will not provide its clients with information about how to set up or operate an Education Agency in Australia or overseas. Individuals need to contact the relevant authorities in their country for requirements and procedures regarding this.

The course will cover four (4) areas:

  • Australia, the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and Career Trends
  • Legislation and Regulations
  • Working Effectively in International Education
  • Professional Standards and Ethics

Education Agents who wish to have their extensive knowledge recognised can take a formal test and once the exam has been successfully completed, they will become Qualified Education Agent Counsellors. Skills Australia Institute encourages the qualification and all of our preferred Education Agents have successfully completed the exam and are fully qualified.

Please note: The QEAC Certification Exam is only available to those who are looking to certify as Qualified Education Agent Counsellors (QEACs). Certification is at a cost of $400.00 AUD. For more information, please click on the following link
